Winter

There’s comfort in searching for antiques in winter while nature is stripped bare. Trees are skeletal, gardens are dormant, and windows glow in the late afternoon. In this pared down landscape, antiques feel honest. They don’t pretend to be new. Their scratches are visible. Their beauty is refreshing. Their stories are partially told. Winter grants us permission to appreciate wear and to see age as evidence rather than a flaw.
